Patch Oliver is an emerging Adelaide-based artist. A recent graduate of the Acting course at the Adelaide College of the Arts, Patch has appeared onstage in multiple roles, including George Gibbs in Wilder's Our Town and Lysander in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. He has also had lead roles in films, including Eightlimb Film's short Avalanche (2011) and JuFoFu Film's feature Closer To Home (2013), and is set to appear in ANZAC Girls in 2014. Also a poet and playwright, his writing often focuses on human psychology. He has performed spoken word extensively, both his own work and that of established local writers, including David Jobling and Indigo Eli. In 2014 his debut play Took was awarded The Flinders University Young Playwrights Award.
